It’s Memorial Day, which means we get the day off to honor those who have died during war. I’m not a big fan of war, and I’d like to believe that most other people in this world aren’t either. There’s the optimist in me.

This also means I’m not a huge fan of war movies, or so I thought. Turns out the second movie behind Schindler’s List on the IMDb Best War Movies is Casablanca, a movie I didn’t see until I was about 27. Better late than never I say!

Thanks to those poor souls who had to die in the wars throughout history. You are remembered.
